With more than 12 years of R&D experience in the field of environmental microbiology and biotechnology as PhD Research Scientist, Delphine Guillebault has managed several R&D projects to bring them to an advance technological stage and acquired outstanding skills in the development of innovative microbiological risk assessment tools. Passionate by environment and especially water protection, she co-founded Microbia Environnement SAS with C-L Manes in 2013 in order to bring innovative molecular technologies to the water market, providing stakeholders with advance technology for microbiological risk anticipation.

 

Roger Allen

CEO – RLA (Resources for Leisure Assets) – USA, Austria, UAE

For more than 20 years, Roger has been working on multiple levels of project development in the hospitality and leisure industries, developing a singular expertise in wellbeing asset management and the complexity of project planning through to delivery and operations.

Roger is the founder and Group CEO of Resources for Leisure Assets a full service advisory and management company specializing in wellbeing hospitality with offices in Sonoma, Vienna and Dubai. He brings a no-nonsense approach to the industry and outspoken views on how hotel wellness can and should deliver profits.

Beata Aleksandrowicz is and expert on massage and healing and the creator of Pure massage Spa Training Method that provides spas worldwide with advanced training in the modern concept of massage. Among her recent projects are Dormy Spa house – Cotswald UK, Amilla Fushi – Maldives, Finolhu Spa and Resort – Maldives, The Lansborough Club@Spa -London Uk.

Dr Eduard Bláha

President of Czech Spa – Thermes Association  / General Director of Thermes Jáchymov & of Thermes Luhačovice / Co-owner and president of the board of  MediClinic – Czech Republic

With a keen discernment for the needs of his clients and his passion for wellness project Dr Blaha quickly became a sought-after name in the Thermalism and wellness industry. His experience in the pharmaceutical industry, his approach for business as well as his special sense for trends make Dr Blaha an established expert in the wellness industry. At present, he is ahead of the largest spa chain in the Czech Republic.

Dr. Nicola Angelo Fortunati

General Director – Italian Hospitality Collection « Therme and Spa » –  Italy

Dr. Nicola Angelo Fortunati has a degree in Medicine and Surgery, and majored in Clinical and Thermal Medicine (Medical Hydrology). He worked as Health Manger first and then as General Manager at the Spa “Terme di Saturnia” until 2006. Dr Fortunati is today the Spa General Manager of the Italian Hospitality Collection, which runs three important spas in Tuscany: Fonteverde Natural Spa Resort, Grotta Giusti Natural Spa Resort and Bagni di Pisa Medical Spa Resort. 

He has been involved in developing of several SPA projects wide world and he is the author of a number of scientific articles published in impact factor magazines. He is President of Tuscan Thermes Technical & Scientific Committee.

Andrew Gibson

Vice-président Well-Being – Luxury Brands for AccorHotels  – United Arab Emirates

Over 30 years’ experience directly related to fitness, resort development, sap and now wellness at the start of new brands such as Aphrodite Hills in Cyprus, Six Senses, Mandarin Oriental, and Raison d’Etre, Raffles, Fairmont and Swissôtel. Holding a truly global position he has contributed to spa and wellness in over 70 countries, serving as ISPA on the board, being a founder memeber of Global Wellnes Summit and Institute, working closely with Spa China (Spa innovator of the year for China 2013) advisory board for Singapore Republic Polytechnic School of Hospitality and speaking at many industry events and universities.

Thierry Dubois

President – CNETh – France

Thierry DUBOIS has been the CEO of the Medical spa and Clinics of Saujon for more than 30 years. Since 2009, he is the President of CNETh, the French association of medical spa operators that represents all of the 110 French thermal facilities. He was elected President of ESPA (European Spas Association) in June 2016. He is also very active in the tourism field, being the President of the Union of Tourist Offices of the Charente-Maritime region.

Martial Denêtre

Managing Director – Carnac Thalasso – France

Managing Director of thalassotherapy centers for 25 years, Martial Denêtre, former Managing Director of Alliance Pornic thalassotherapy, has been occupying for 9 years the functions of Managing Director of Carnac Thalasso and spa resort, most important integrated hotel infrastructure in North-Western France.
Forerunner, he was the first one to integrate a spa into a thalassotherapy in 2004 and to propose the ayurvedic care in a thalassotherapy center.
Visionary, he initiates the innovative positioning of Carnac Thalasso and spa resort regarding sustainable development, by the Green Globe certification of the hotel, the Ecocert label of the marine spa with the implementation of the 100 % Organic cares in thalassotherapy and the development of the cosmetic line BioCarnac

Julie Bach

Executive Director – NGO Wellness for Cancer – US

Julie is the Executive Director of NGO Wellness for Cancer with the objective of improving well-being for people touched by cancer. Julie is a thought leader within the Global Wellness Institute, recognized for bridging the medical world with the world of wellness.

She has provided cancer-focused consulting and training to thousands of staff members in spas, hospitals, not-for profits, throughout Europe, United States, Mexico, Canada, and India.

Serge Raulic

Founder and CEO of Thermes Marins de Saint-Malo

An emblematic figure in the world of thalassotherapy, Serge Raulic ensures the destiny of Thermes Marins de Saint-Malo for more than 35 years. A passionate and visionary man, he was able to hoist the Thermes Marins de Saint-Malo at a level of quality rarely equaled.
Civil aviation engineer, formerly the right-hand man of Louison Bobet in Quiberon Thalassotherapy, Serge Raulic bought the Grand Hotel des Thermes in Saint-Malo in 1981, developing it by focusing on quality of care and innovation without neglecting Hotels and restaurants.
First independent group in the thalassotherapy industry in France, Thermes Marins de Saint-Malo have 7 hotels, 3 hotel residences, a golf course, 3 Urban Aquatonic wellness centers and a cosmetics brand.

Serge Raulic also exports its recipes of success by selling its know-how (engineering and training) to the 4 corners of the world as part of the creation of thalassotherapy centers & spa (Thermes Marins Bali, Thermes Marins du Pacifique -Japan, Aquatonic Kuwait, Aquatonic Nouméa -Nouvelle Calédonie, Thermes Marins des Cascades – Egypt, …).

He also chairs the Thalasso Bretagne association, which brings together 15 Thalassotherapy centers.

A guiding change maker of creating enhanced happiness and wellbeing through positive action – specifically by highlighting the interconnection & interrelationship between People Capital, Natural Capital and Economic Capital in ways where all matter and benefit.
Co-founded in 2010, Motti is Chief Imagineer of “Rythms by Design” – an innovative Responsible Sourcing and Procurement Management enterprise focusing in all areas of BD&E, FF&E and OS&E.

Bart Van Cauwelaert, has joined the ACCORHOTELS Group in 2002, with a strong experience in hospitality. He managed several hotels in Belgium before taking on the Sofitel Biarritz Thalassa sea & spa management, and entering the seawater spa world. Since 2014, he’s managing the Sofitel Quiberon Thalassa sea & spa with the strong will to make of this site composed of 2 hotels Sofitel and a thalassotherapy and spa institute, a real wellness resort.

Pierre Louis Delapalme

Pierre Louis Delapalme has been in the wellness industry for over 25 years and has held general management positions in Europe, Asia and North America for Unilever and Yves Rocher.
He is currently co-president and co-owner of Biologique Recherche alongside Rupert Schmid and Doctor Philippe Allouche.
